Overshadowing

In the Danny Phantom universe, ghosts/half ghosts have an ability called overshadowing, which essentially works like possession. The ghost (or half-ghost) will take over the body of the person they choose to overshadow and control it how they see fit. It's difficult to say the full effect that this has on the person being overshadowed, though it appears that any suggestions planted in their minds "stick" once the overshadowing is done (i.e. Danny's mother and Mr. Lancer deciding not to punish Danny when Dani overshadowed them both to make them say that).

The big thing though is that unless they have a pretty strong sense of their own minds and any forces that might infiltrate them, characters will usually not notice that Dani's there, should she overshadow them. Except, that is, if she tries to get a character to do something that they really would not want to do, such as when Vlad tries to overshadow Danny's dad and make him betray his mother, in which case they will be able to notice and fight back against her overshadowing.

Now, Dani isn't going to use this ability a lot, because her current instability means if she tries to use it too much (particularly against someone who fights back), she'll literally disintegrate. And just to make it clear any time that Dani uses overshadowing I will contact you to work out the specific details of how it will go. But just to make thing simpler up front should it become relevant, please fill out the following questions:

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them? Um. Most supernatural things he doesn't seem to have a sense for, except...possession appears to be the exception! When possessed by a spirit in canon, he isn't actually manipulated against his will, instead near paralyzed and able to drive them out. (Raphael advises he "shake his body", that is, make conscious efforts to move on his own as much as he can, but repeated attempts to use his purification also count as activity that drives them out, funnily enough.) Planting suggestions, though, is something he is totally vulnerable to. So it depends on where on that scale what she's attempting to do falls.
What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them? Killing or maiming someone, even saying something particularly hurtful would get his attention, if the above doesn't exempt him. Basically, causing him to bring someone who hasn't warranted it somehow to any sort of harm, even emotional.
Would you prefer that Dani not overshadow your characters at all? She totally can - if she can.

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them? Possibly? It depends on the exact scenario; he's more mentally sensitive than the average person, but not as sensitive as say, one of the resident mind-readers.
What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them? Well, betraying/hurting the BFFLs (that's the kid who got "Something True" on the last heart meme, plus probably Natalia and replIon), but also intentionally lying to them. Because Something True - it's not that Asch thinks lying is wrong per say, but he really is someone who thinks that a harsh truth will do less harm to a person than a lie that softens the blow. He'd probably resist less being made to physically hurt them, because that at least he would trust them to know is him being Not Himself.

Also: If Dani was overshadowing, she wouldn't be able to use the hyperresonance (because Not An Isofon). It's possible that she could mentally nudge Asch into using it (since that would still technically be his act), but she couldn't force it if he was fighting her.

For Suzaku, Shion, Taiki, Romeo, Sam, Nesir and Capell

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them? I don't think any of them would realise. Taiki might, or his shirei might notice there is something else in his head.

What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them? Romeo wont hurt his friends or anyone really, Taiki can't fight or do violence at all and he wont be mean or nasty, Sam won't hurt innocents, neither will Capell, Shion won't betray his friends, Suzaku can't die I'd love to say he wont kill but hahahhaha, he will probably fight if she tries to make him betray those he cares about. Notably there is nothing that will make Nesir break the control.

Would you prefer that Dani not overshadow your characters at all? I am cool with this happening

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them? America wouldn't be able to sense it, but it would probably be extremely difficult for Dani to overshadow him because he's a nation--it would be overshadowing multiple people at once.
What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them? Betraying/injuring/killing England, injuring/killing France, betraying/injuring/killing anyone America is aware is American--anything that would go against his nation instincts would probably break the control in general because it stops being about America as an individual and is about his collective, inhuman side.
Would you prefer that Dani not overshadow your characters at all? If it comes up she's free to try it.

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them?

Probably not, unfortunately.

What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them?

Betrayal, murder, harming people... all DEFINITE red flags.

Honestly, ... Luke's got a strong will-power. He's done a lot of things most wouldn't have been able to do. So, really, almost anything that he wouldn't want to do might toss up a red flag. And Luke's not exactly a push-over, so...

Would you prefer that Dani not overshadow your characters at all?

I'm always up for excitement!

EDIT: As Asch-mun said, she would not be able to use his hyperresonance. ♥ She might be able to nudge it into being done by Luke, but... if he's fighting, it's a no-go.

Would your character be able to sense/fight back if Dani were to try overshadowing them?

Ganta wouldn't notice a thing.

What (if any) are "big" things that would make your character realize Dani is overshadowing them?

Anything that involves harm--of any kind--to his friends, he'll notice. Anything else, he might not.

Would you prefer that Dani not overshadow your characters at all?

Bring it on.

NOTE: She would get to enjoy Deadman abilities. Minus Ganbare and Supersonic, AS OF RIGHT NOW...

They could come in the future; and, I will update this comment when/if it happens!
